Terms and Conditions of Use

Hello. Before using ATÍPICOS, we want to explain clearly how our platform works and what the rules are. No small print — everything you need to know is right here.
1. Who are we?
ATÍPICOS is a digital platform that connects neurodivergent people, their families, and caregivers with specialized resources, services, and professionals. 2. Who can use ATÍPICOS?
Our platform is designed for two types of people: • Individual users: neurodivergent people, family members, caregivers, and anyone interested in neurodiversity. To register, you must be at least 14 years old. If you are under 14, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian. • Professionals and organizations: companies, associations, healthcare and educational professionals who offer specialized services for the neurodivergent community. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. How to use the platform
We want ATÍPICOS to be a safe and respectful space for everyone. Therefore: ✓ Use the platform honestly and legally. ✓ Respect other users, keeping in mind neurological diversity and different sensitivities. ✓ Do not publish false, offensive, discriminatory content or content that violates others' rights. ✓ Do not attempt to access other people's accounts or unauthorized systems. If we detect a violation of these rules, we may suspend or delete your account. In serious cases, we will report this to the authorities.
4. Your account and password
When you create an account on ATÍPICOS: • You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share it with anyone. • If you suspect that someone has accessed your account without permission, notify us immediately at info@atipicos.org. • Accounts that remain inactive for an extended period may be deactivated, with prior notice. • You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
5. Content and intellectual property
ATÍPICOS' original content (design, texts, logos, code, structure) is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our authorization. The content you publish (reviews, comments, profile information) remains yours. By publishing it, you grant us a license to display it within the platform while your account is active. We will not sell it or use it for other purposes without your permission. If you publish images or testimonials from third parties, make sure you have their consent.
6. Payment services and subscriptions
Some ATÍPICOS services (mainly for professionals) require payment. In that case: • Prices and conditions will always be displayed clearly before you confirm any purchase. • Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a certified payment provider. ATÍPICOS does not store credit card data. • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period. You can cancel at any time from your account, with at least 24 hours' notice before the renewal date. • If you cancel within 14 days of signing up and have not yet used the service, you have the right to request a full refund under the European right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU). • We reserve the right to modify prices or conditions, but we will always notify you at least 30 days in advance.
7. Limitation of liability
ATÍPICOS does its best to keep the platform running well, but we are not perfect: • We cannot guarantee that the service will be available 100% of the time. There may be interruptions due to maintenance or technical issues. • The information on the platform is for guidance only and does not replace professional medical, psychological, or legal advice. • ATÍPICOS acts as a directory and intermediary: we verify that listed professionals meet basic criteria, but we are not responsible for the quality of the services they offer. • We are not responsible for indirect or unforeseen damages resulting from the use of the platform.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when necessary. If we make significant changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, by email or through a notice on the platform. If you continue using ATÍPICOS after that period, we understand that you accept the new terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
9. Privacy and cookies
We take data protection very seriously, especially since many of our users share sensitive information related to their neurodivergence. Please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy to understand how we protect your information.
10. Dispute resolution
If you have any complaint or suggestion, please write to us first at info@atipicos.org. We will try to resolve it with you as quickly and amicably as possible. If we cannot reach an agreement, consumer users may use the alternative dispute resolution system available in their country. These terms are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the courts and tribunals of Barcelona.
