Welcome to the community for neurodivergent people

I love the idea. I think there's a lot of love in this project and it's super necessary because nothing like it exists, and it will prevent a lot of bad experiences of feeling alone and misunderstood in day-to-day life. I'm excited and happy about such a generous project for this community.

I've spent years feeling like I have to explain myself from scratch every time I seek professional help. It's exhausting. This platform feels like a dream: a place where we don't have to justify our way of being to receive dignified, informed, and humane treatment. This is real change.

As a mother, I've spent sleepless nights looking for references, reading forums, asking in groups. Always wondering if that professional will truly understand my son. Having a space like this, where other families have already walked that path and share, is a gift. I can finally breathe.

Being neurodivergent and an adult means living between late diagnoses, professionals who don't know, and labels that weigh you down. This platform gives me hope. We are not alone, and now we have a place to find people who do understand us and treat us with respect. I can't wait to start using it, I still can't believe it.

I've lost count of how many times I've left a consultation thinking: 'They haven't understood anything.' ATÍPICOS seems revolutionary because it puts neurodivergence at the center, without infantilizing it, without pathologizing it. Here, finally, we are the starting point, not the problem.

I'm a healthcare professional and I'm also part of the community. I've seen from the inside how uninformed the system is. This platform is necessary, not only for those seeking support, but also for those of us who want to do things right. It's a compass for all of us who want to improve.
